A very big welcome to all you new readers of this story journal. I hope you guys don't let me down over the next few years, and that you actually provide me with some really good stories to amuse and entertain when all else fails.
You see we are not just publishing our own stories, oh no, we are looking for the best writer in England, not determined by me or my colleagues here, but by the readers clicking on the website, and casting their auspicious verdicts in cyberspace.
I have a very low boredom threshold as I am sure a lot of you do in this day and age, and I could not sit through poor writing. I hope and expect that the same applies to you and that you find it within your pain threshold to sit through the offerings we provide you on a monthly basis.
If you fancy writing send us your sample story, and we will pay you £250 if we publish it. No publish - no pay. If the readers vote your story the best you get another £1000 at the end of the year.
It really couldn't be simpler. We just want quality and we will know it when we see it. Hopefully, the best will be tempted away from us by the big publishing houses and I can visit your mansion in LA! That's it for now, enjoy the read.
