Welcome to the first online edition of 'The Silver Voice'! We are in the middle of vigorous changes to the structure of the website to match the energy and vitality of the upcoming paper product. As always we welcome any and all opinion and input by email to editor@thesilvervoice.com. We need you to help us achieve our vision as a showcase of excellent writing. By submitting stories, subscribing to the magazine and participating in the writer's forum you can be instrumental in shaping the evolution of 'The Silver Voice'. None of these entities stands alone but all together they are a powerful tool to assist the writing community around the globe.
Our first paper issue is due on the shelves of retail outlets across the UK in September, with international distribution to the United States and beyond hopefully not to far into the future. Until then we want to hear the dulcet tones of our American readers on the website!
As you will see from a browse around the forum, we have taken on the arduous task of wading through the volumes of writers-advice the net has to offer, with the aim of guiding you to the cream of what is out there. We believe that we are in the tiny minority of such sites that offer inbuilt potential for associated online and paper publication of work. It's an all-in, one-stop-shop for people to read exemplary writing, for writers to submit work, to get published and to acquire constructive feedback, all at the same time. And all of this for a nominal administrative fee (we all know how scarce cash can be for novice and yet-to-be published writers!)
We are in the process of recruiting prominent writers, editors, journalists, publishers to join our existing talented and enthusiastic editorial board. We are building an exciting network of creativity and critique: keep an eye on the site for more exciting developments in this regard, as we head into June!
